The Public Service Alliance of Canada reached a tentative agreement with Parks Canada Agency on Friday, November 23, 2012.
The bargaining team unanimously recommends acceptance of the tentative agreement. Read the ratification kit for some of the major changes agreed to during negotiations.
Ratification vote meetings will be held across the country throughout the next month. Meetings in the Prairie Region are listed on the area pages: Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.
PSAC represents 5500 staff at Parks Canada, who work at one of the agency's 32 parks, historic sites and canals as well as at its Ottawa head office.
The collective agreement between the agency and the PSAC expired on August 4, 2011.
