SFL Summer Camp deadline has been extended to Tuesday, March 26/13 @ noon
The 2013 Saskatchewan Federation of Labour (SFL) Summer Camp will be held August 4‐10 at Calling Lakes Centre in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan. Visit the SFL website for more information on the camp and how to apply.
The PSAC Prairie Region Council has approved funding to pay the registration fee for a child of a PSAC member. If no requests are received, the money will be sent to the SFL Summer Camp as a donation.
Any member interested in submitting the name of a child ages 13 to 16 should submit their SFL application and short essay (approximately 100 words) answering the question, “What can a Union do for me?” Submit applications & essay by email or by fax to (204) 943‐0652. Please include your component, local, and contact information (phone and/or email).
Deadline to submit applications & essay has been extended to Tuesday, March 26/13 @ noon. Following the camp, the selected participants will be required to submit a report of activities to the Prairie Region Council. Applicants will be notified if their child has been selected for the subsidy.
