PSAC members in Saskatoon have organized two teams, with members from the Regional Women's Committee (RWC) and Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) to help the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre.
On May 31, 2013, the teams planted their rows and participated in a welcome BBQ.
The Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre is working towards a food secure community where all people have access to safe, affordable, and nutritious food. However, the not-for-profit receives no core government funding. Now in it's third year, it relies solely on the generosity of the community to operate.
