In order to update PSAC members on bargaining, telephone town halls in the PA, SV, TC and EB groups will be held on March 9 and 10. Each call is 30 minutes long and will focus on bargaining and the strike votes. National President, Chris Aylward, and National Executive Vice-President Magali Picard will be featured speakers at the telephone town halls.
Get more information on PSAC's actions in the wake of COVID-19.
IMPORTANT: In accordance with PSAC Regulations members must attend an information session prior to casting their ballot. These sessions will be approximately 1 hour in length. As this is a strike vote any member of the bargaining unit can cast a ballot.
After a year of negotiations, Markers, TA’s, Lab Demonstrators, and Tutors at the University of Winnipeg, members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada Local 55600, have ratified their new collective agreement!
We would like to thank members who participated in the ratification vote and the membership as a whole for your support during bargaining.
A copy of the new Agreement will be available in the following weeks.
