On January 7-10, the PSAC/CIU’s Border Services (FB) bargaining team kicked off a new round of bargaining, meeting with Treasury Board and Canada Border Services Agency (TB/CBSA) negotiators and exchanging proposals.
PSAC is taking action in response to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s (CFIA) failure to meet the implementation deadline for the latest collective agreement.

Following a long campaign by PSAC, Bill C-62—An Act to amend the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations Act and other Acts—received Royal Assent on November 26, 2018.
Each region will be hosting a ratification session where members can review the tentative agreement, ask questions, and then vote on whether they want to accept the new contract.
