TREASURY BOARD BARGAINING UPDATES The PSAC Edmonton Regional Office is holding a number of meetings to update members on Treasury Board Bargaining. Do you:  Wonder why collective agreements are taking so long to negotiate?  Have questions on bargaining?  Want to know what you can do to help move the process along? Come to one of the Treasury Board Bargaining update meeting.

In a letter of support and solidarity to UMFA President Mark Hudson, Marianne Hladun assured UMFA members that we stand together with them in their fight for fairness. Professors at the University of Manitoba are entering their third week of strike action. Hladun and PSAC members have been proud to walk the picket line with members of the University of Manitoba Faculty Association. Both sides have returned to the bargaining table, and we hope for a fair and equitable solution for all.

We need members who want to work on activities that revolve around human rights and those human rights issues that affect our members, their families and friends and those in our communities in a positive environment. The EHR Committee’s goal is to build on our strengths in the PSAC and develop partnerships with other unions and community organizations committed to working towards a better life for all.
