Organizing

The certification of the CMHR non-managerial employees and the pending application for UofW academic assistants generated an organizing momentum, which we will continue to build on as we develop our regional organizing program and strategies.

There are many viable opportunities for PSAC to organize in the Prairie Region and we should expect more campaigns in the future.

Academic workers at University of Winnipeg join PSAC

 After several months of campaigning and card signing, nearly 400 academic workers employed at the University of Winnipeg have joined the Public Service Alliance of Canada and will now benefit from improved working conditions and free collective bargaining.
Human rights museum staff in Winnipeg joins PSAC

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) is welcoming new members at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg, after a successful three month campaign to secure workers’ rights.
