The federal government must implement these recommendations as quickly as possible so that the federal public service can continue to be one of the best public services in the world.

With a tentative agreement reached last month with Canada Post, our union is preparing for the ratification voting process.

This is a call out to PSAC equity activists (Aboriginal Peoples, Racialized Workers, Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Trans Members, and Members with Disabilities), Regional Women's Committee members, and Young worker activists (30 or younger) to participate in the upcoming Treasury Board Units Bargaining Conferences.

The deeming of RCMP civilian members (CMs) has been delayed, but the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) is still working hard to ensure CMs receive the full benefits of union membership until they officially join the federal public service.

Human Rights Day is observed every year on December 10 to acknowledge the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in 1948.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada will be holding an electronic vote for members of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to ratify the tentative agreement between PSAC and CFIA. The voting period will be from January 15 to February 15, 2018.
