Report of the Prairies Regional Executive Vice-President to the Prairie Region Triennial Convention, April 21-23, 2017. This report covers the 2014-17 PRC term.

PSAC is doing everything in its power to ensure that the pay system is fixed so that our members in the federal public service get paid correctly and on-time. We are also demanding the government address the difficulties our members are facing because of Phoenix.

Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada working for Treasury Board have accepted new collective agreements that contain no concessions for four bargaining units representing more than 100,000 workers.

More than 500 PSAC members from five equity groups and their allies attended the union’s triennial National Equity Conferences in Toronto last month to raise awareness, deepen their knowledge and strategize around issues of discrimination and equality.

The attached documents will be provided in Convention kits upon registration to all pre-registered delegates, observers, guests and staff. Resolutions packages will not be mailed out in advance

Registration will begin Thursday, April 20 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the Mezzanine Level of the Fairmont Winnipeg. Registration will continue in the same place on Friday, April 21 from 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.

As part of the Regional Office Team, the Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative services that enable the Regional Office to fulfill its role in a timely and credible manner.  Under the direction of the Regional Coordinator maintains the administrative aspects of the Regional Office.  While carrying out the wide variety of administrative, secretarial and clerical responsibilities to ensure efficient operation of the Regional Office.
