The 8th Triennial Prairie Region Convention will be held in Regina June 12-14, 2020 at the Delta Regina Hotel. 

Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) officials say the bargaining team has tabled proposals to align park wardens’ employment terms and conditions with the overall law enforcement community.

This year’s National Public Service Week (NPSW), being held between June 9 and 15, is happening while 140,000 PSAC members are fighting to reach fair collective agreements and proper compensation for the Phoenix disaster. 

The Prairie Region has launched four Webinars; one for each of the Treasury Board Bargaining Units (PA, TC, SV and EB). We would like to encourage those members that are out of town or those who cannot make an in town meeting, to register for an online Webinar barganing update meeting.  Here are your bargaining groups based on your job classification: Program & Administrative Services (PA) Group

The Prairie Region will be hosting bargaining update meetings for all PSAC Members in Treasury Board (TB) Locals in June. Each meeting will be led by a Member of your Bargaining Team (click on the link to read their biographies). Please attend the correct in-person meeting according to your bargaining group. The Treasury Board bargaining groups are based on your job classification, see the table below.

We are currently seeking volunteer representatives to sit on the Steering Committee for the Prairies Regional Racially Visible Conference, to be held in fall 2019.

The following courses are open to all Manitoba PSAC members in good standing.  Loss of salary and expenses are paid according to the Education Administrative Guidelines on the Prairies website. The schedule will be updated with additional courses in early 2019.
