Please see the attached documents (the Convention Call, Delegate Credential Form and Observer Credential Form) for the 8th Triennial Prairie Region Convention which will be held in Regina, Saskatchewan June 12-14, 2020 at the Delta Regina Hotel, 1919 Saskatchewan Drive, Regina, Saskatchewan. We hope this guide will provide you with all the information you will need to register and participate in the 8th Prairie Region Triennial Convention of the Public Service Alliance of Canada.

Please be advised the LGBTQ2+ representative for the Prairie Regional Council has resigned.  Therefore we find ourselves in a position to fill the vacancy left by individual as soon as possible. As per procedure, any member of a local who self-identifies as part of the LGBTQ2+ community can be nominated to run for this position.  However the delegates to the 2017 PSAC Prairie Regional Convention who were part of the LGBTQ2+  caucus are the only members eligible to nominate and second and vote for the nominees for this position.

We are LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS for our Election Phone banks – you would be calling PSAC members in target ridings asking them to consider voting for candidates that support public services and the work that we do. We will provide training, phone scripts and PSAC staff will be on hand to assist with any questions that arise. The PSAC Social Justice Fund invites your members to participate in the next “Education In Action” project in Guatemala for 2 weeks in spring 2020. Education In Action is supported by the PSAC Social Justice Fund to engage members and other Canadians to deepen their understanding of Guatemala and to build solidarity with Mayan communities in Guatemala.
