Annual fundraising drives have kicked off across the Prairie Region and we’re asking Prairies members to reach into their pockets and continue their pattern of giving generously to an important community-focused charity.

Each year on October 4, communities across Canada come together to honour the lives of missing and murdered Aboriginal women and girls. As we do so, we remember the lives of sisters, daughters, mothers and grandmothers tragically taken from us. We also support grieving families and provide opportunities for healing.

The Calgary Day of Action was held at Sandy Beach Park and was attended by many PSAC members, allies, and families. Members were treated to a BBQ provided by M&M Meats and some fun games and activities such as the "Harper Hates…" bean bag toss, arts & crafts, and face painting.
