Every year, PSAC members invest in their communities by supporting their local United Way. Annual fundraising drives have kicked off across the Prairie Region and we’re asking Prairies members to reach into their pockets and continue their pattern of giving generously to an important community-focused charity.

Each year on October 4, communities across Canada come together to honour the lives of missing and murdered Aboriginal women and girls. As we do so, we remember the lives of sisters, daughters, mothers and grandmothers tragically taken from us. We also support grieving families and provide opportunities for healing.

Members from Agriculture Union Local 30048 in Lethbridge attended the Take Back The Night event on Sept. 14, 2012 wearing their We Are All Affected t-shirts.

The Calgary Day of Action was held at Sandy Beach Park and was attended by many PSAC members, allies, and families.
