Members from Agriculture Union Local 30048 in Lethbridge attended the Take Back The Night event on Sept. 14, 2012 wearing their We Are All Affected t-shirts.
The annual event is held to take a stand against violence in the community. The We Are All Affected gear was especially applicable given this year's event theme: "Me Too". The theme is meant to represent a sense of togetherness and an understanding that violence affects the entire community, not just the victim – not unlike the ongoing public service cuts.
The PSAC members t-shirts and their accompanying We Are All Affected messages within the community made an impact in Lethbridge, and they will continue to build on this.
The event was organized by Womanspace Resource Centre.
