Community Forum: Stop closure of Vegreville Immigration Centre

December 18, 2016
6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
4802 47a Street, The Vegreville Social Centre, Vegreville, Alberta (Map)

This community forum will connect us with those who share our concerns and give a voice to those who weren’t consulted in the decision making process, including the municipality, the workers, and the community as a whole. We need support from every person in Vegreville and the surrounding communities.

We’re calling on the government to Respect Vegreville and reverse their decision. Join us at the community forum to ask questions, voice your concerns, and learn how you can get involved.

Sunday, December 18, 2016, 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:00 p.m.)
The Vegreville Social Centre, 4802 47a Street, Vegreville

Speakers include:
- Myron Hayduk, Mayor, Vegreville
- Shannon Stubbs, Conservative MP, Lakeland
- Jessica Littlewood, NDP MLA, Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville
- Chris Aylward, National Vice-President, PSAC
- Michelle Henderson, Campaign Lead, CEIU

The processing centre is one of the biggest employers in town and has been a cornerstone of our community for over 20 years. Help us ensure Vegreville remains the healthy and vibrant community we know and love.
