Dear Brothers & Sisters:
It is now just over two months until the 5th Triennial Prairie Region Convention, which is being held at the Fairmont Winnipeg in Winnipeg, Manitoba from June 10-12, 2011.
We have reserved a large block of rooms for members at the Fairmont Winnipeg, but space is quickly running out. Since all members are responsible for booking their own accommodations, I would encourage everyone to book promptly to secure rooms at the Convention hotel.
However, should the Fairmont Winnipeg fill to capacity, we have compiled a list of hotels (see attached, below) for you to choose from for alternate accommodation. Please give priority to unionized hotels.
Please remember that all of these rates are estimates and can change depending on hotel availability. Some hotels offer a government rate with government ID. Should you have any questions regarding accommodations or Convention, don’t hesitate to contact my office.
