Crowns Dear Sisters, Brothers and Friends UNIFOR locals representing members at crown corporations including Sask Power, SaskTel and SaskEnergy have indicated that they may take strike action commencing this Friday, Oct. 4th.

Dear members of our union family: Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for our union to come together and support Indigenous peoples in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come. Orange Shirt Day recognizes all of those who experienced the trauma of residential schools and recommits our union to true national reconciliation with Indigenous peoples. PSAC is committed to work for true reconciliation with the Indigenous peoples of Canada.

Each year in Canada on June 21, Canada recognizes National Indigenous Peoples Day to celebrate the rich, diverse cultures of First Nations, Métis and Inuit people.

We are currently seeking volunteer representatives to sit on the Steering Committee for the Prairies Regional Racially Visible Conference, to be held in fall 2019.
