Dear Brothers/Sisters:
It is now less than a year until the 2011 Prairie Region Convention and plans are well under way. Recently, however, we ran into several challenging obstacles that have forced us to make substantial changes to our original plans.
While we were excited to bring Convention to Regina for the first time, unforeseen circumstances – including space requirements, hotel availability and sharing the same month as the annual Farm Progress Show and grad season – have forced us to change location.
After checking availability in Saskatoon, the Prairie Region Council made the difficult decision to move Convention to the Fairmont Winnipeg, a hotel in which we have the utmost confidence and one that previously facilitated our Regional Convention. This will no doubt make for a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.
The dates for the 2011 Prairie Region Convention are Friday, June 10, 2011 to Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Fairmont Winnipeg. The input call will be sent out in September. If you have any questions, please contact Alison Davis at davisa@psac.com or (204) 9564625.
