Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Over the years it has become very apparent that many of our members have experienced frustration with their expense claims. It is not the intention of the PSAC for any member to experience hardship after taking a course or attending a conference/convention.
To ensure that we maintain and recruit new activists I am strongly recommending that you ask for an advance of 75% of your total expense claim including salary. This should ensure that you have adequate funds until your final cheque arrives from Ottawa. Please ensure your request for an advance is made three weeks prior to the event via the organizer or Regional office.
