The Manitoba Federation of Labour (MFL) Executive Council has endorsed the establishment of a new MFL Human Rights and Equality Committee to further advance the Federation’s work on human rights, equality and inclusion issues. The PSAC Prairie Region is currently seeking nominations for this committee.
Funding is available from the national PSAC budget for members’ participation on Federation of Labour Committees. Representatives will be required to provide written reports following each committee meeting before any expenses will be reimbursed. Committee representatives are not funded for annual conventions.
