Dear members of our union family:
Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for our union to come together and support Indigenous peoples in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come. Orange Shirt Day recognizes all of those who experienced the trauma of residential schools and recommits our union to true national reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.
PSAC is committed to work for true reconciliation with the Indigenous peoples of Canada.
On behalf of PSAC Prairies, we ask that you join us by participating on Orange Shirt Day on Monday, September 30 to commemorate the Every Child Matters campaign.
Please send pictures of yourself and your friends/families/co-workers wearing orange shirts to linnert@psac.com. Please include a brief description and identification, if so desired, as we would like to share these pictures throughout the Prairie Region.
