Dear Sisters and Brothers,
We are well into our new national public engagement campaign, the Third Choice Campaign, and public reception has been very positive to date. The first two films have accumulated more than 86,000 views on YouTube and our Facebook community continues to grow. We've also just released our latest video on search and rescue.
The next step is to supply our activists with the materials needed to spread the important message behind the campaign. You regional office's have absurd choice business cards that you can distribute at conferences, rallies, meetings and in your workplaces, as an easy and effective way to strike up a conversation with people about this campaign and the damage of severe cuts to public services. We also have several different campaign posters which I encourage you to print, post and share. The three posters are included below.
One of the main goals of this campaign is to engage the public and inspire more people to question the absurd choice they are being given by government – between no deficit and strong public services – and demand a better choice. Through these conversations we aim to depopularize cuts and inspire Canadians to demand a third choice and demonstrate the value Canadians place on their public services.
If you have any questions about this campaign, please don’t hesitate to contact my office. Thank you for your support and participation in this important campaign.
In Solidarity,
Robyn Benson
Regional Executive Vice-President
