The PSAC Prairie Region presents the Young Workers' Conference, September 23-24, 2014 in Regina, Saskatchewan.Do young workers need unions? Do unions need young workers? What are the issues facing young workers in my union? What does it mean to be a union activist anyway? How can I get more involved in my union?PSAC Prairies invites young workers, ages 30 and under, to apply to attend the Young Workers’ Conference. This event will bring together 30-40 young workers from across the Prairies for two full days of learning, networking and planning.

More than 60 union women traveled to Banff for the PSAC Prairies Regional Women’s Conference, held May 3-5 at the Banff Centre. All materials distributed to Conference delegates are available online, along with Conference Chair Nancy Johnson's report.

More than 60 Sisters from across the Prairie Region gathered in Banff, Alberta from May 3-5, 2013 for the Prairies Regional Women's Conference, under the theme "Telling Our Stories".

These conferences are an opportunity for our members to continue the important work of maintaining and improving the militancy and activism of the Union in the struggle to improve the human rights and working conditions of all PSAC members.

Nancy Johnson is the Regional Women's Committee (RWC) Representative for the PSAC Prairie Region Council (PRC). She was also the Conference Chair for the Prairies 2013 Regional Women's Conference. I’d like to commence by, once again, thanking the PSAC for allowing me the privilege of representing young workers in the Prairie Region at the CLC Political Action Conference. In particular, appreciation goes out to REVP Sister Marianne Hladun, Jeffrey Vallis, and my fellow delegates, Sister Shannan Little, Brother Paul Daigneault, and Brother Jesse Todd, whose presence made this trip meaningful.
