PSAC is proud to offer funding to a select number of union sisters to participate in the annual Prairie School for Union Women (PSUW), an intensive four days of learning and sharing to develop women’s personal and leadership skills and to build solidarity among women workers. Over the years, the highly acclaimed PSUW has been a progressive and inspirational event for women who want to take a more active role in their unions.

The 2016–2018 Prairies Regional Education Plan was developed by the Prairie Region Council Education Committee in consultation with PSAC Prairies leaders, stewards, active union members, and regional office staff.  The goals of the plan:

Application deadline is November 18, 2016 CLICK 'NEXT' TO BEGIN THE REGISTRATION PROCESS. This fall we will hold three NAPC courses for Aboriginal, Inuit and Métis members—one in Alberta (November 26-27), one in Saskatchewan (December 10-11) and one in Manitoba (December 4-5). This two-day course is for First Nation, Inuit and Métis members who have had little or no exposure to their union and would like to learn more about it.
