The Joint Learning Program (JLP) Prairie/NWT Region will be holding a Facilitator Orientation Session, January 12-16th, 2015, to train new JLP facilitators.  If you are interested in becoming a facilitator for the program then please see the attached document for more details and application information. The deadline to apply is September 12th 2014.

The Prairie Region Council Education Committee has completed the draft 2013 - 2015 PSAC Prairies Regional Education plan which was based, in large part, on information received from members through the education survey and the regional education planning meetings. All documents are attached below. We invite you to provide feedback on this draft plan. Please send your ideas and comments to Judy Shannon, Prairies Regional Education Officer, no later than February 28, 2013.

A dozen PSAC members employed at the Drumheller Institution and Annex in Drumheller, Alberta participated in PSAC's Talking Union Basic's (TUB) course on January 19, 2013, the first course to be offered in the town, 100 km outside of Calgary.

The National Managers Community in Edmonton and The Edmonton Area Council are hosting two Joint Learning Programs in Edmonont. An "Understanding the Collective Agreement" scheduled for January 30, 2013 and a "Duty to Accommodate" scheduled for February 6, 2013.
