The member appreciation BBQ in Regina was a huge succes. The BBQ was organized to honour public service workers and speak out against the employer's hypocritical position on National Public Service Week.
Members turned out in large numbers over 400 for a hamburger or hotdog and drink, courtesy of M&M Burgers. PSAC members volunteered to help serve and talk with the members, and many attendees stayed to network with other PSAC members.
PSAC also had a table set up with the PSAC fans and stickers, as well as the "Ur next" buttons, an initiative from UTE and the Regina Area Council for PSAC's National Day of Action on March 1. The buttons open the door to conversations with the public or other members about the ongoing cuts to public services.
