On Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. MB / 6:30 p.m. AB/SK, the PSAC Prairie Region will host a special telephone town hall focused on the federal election. We will be joined by several guest speakers and members will have an opportunity to ask questions about election issues, PSAC’s Stop the Cuts campaign, participating in political activities, and more.

A special federal election-themed newsletter went out to all PSAC Prairies members this month with important information about Prairies activities and voting. The information from that mail-out is included. You can also download the PDF of the newsletter.

Are you an Aboriginal, Inuit or Métis PSAC member who would like to learn more about their union?  If yes, we invite you to apply for the PSAC Prairies National Aboriginal Peoples’ Circle (NAPC) course.

This course is for PSAC union representatives (stewards, local officers, etc.) who have: training on and experience with representing members generally; and training on and experience with presenting a grievance during a hearing/meeting with the employer.

The Union Development Program (UDP) is an opportunity for you to prepare yourself to assume leadership roles in your union and in the broader labour and social justice movements.
