Treasury Board has granted our policy grievance with respect to the eligibility of indeterminate employees with less than one year of continuous employment to receive the severance cash-out.

Treasury Board employees formerly under the SDA2 work description at Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) are eligible for a lump sum settlement. These workers administered Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security programs before the introduction of Service Canada.

We call on the Greek government to allow the flotilla to complete its humanitarian mission to Gaza. We also urge our own government to pressure the Israeli state to respect international law and end the illegal blockade immediately.
