PSAC – Prairie Region is pleased to present a Prairies Webinar on Treasury Board Bargaining on Thursday, January 10, 2019. 7pm to 8pm in Manitoba and Saskatchewan; 6pm to 7pm in Alberta.

During our latest talks in December, the government proposed a wage increase of only 0.75% per year for 4 years. This is an insulting offer. It won’t even come close to keeping up with inflation. Worse, the government has said no to retroactive payments, and requested the new agreement only take effect 365 days after it is signed by both parties – this amounts to a two year wage freeze.

It’s outrageous that the Trudeau government won’t even come to the table with a serious offer after our members have been waiting three years to get paid correctly under Phoenix.
