Register for the health and safety webinar

Health & Safety Solutions
June 10, 2015, 7:00 p.m. (MB) / 6:00 p.m. (AB/SK)

When Bill C-4 officially became law in December 2013, the health and safety protections in the Canada Labour Code covering workers under federal jurisdiction were seriously undermined.

PSAC members are still dealing with the aftermath and many people don't understand how they're impacted by the new legislation. They also don't realize the full extent of the changes, which include a new definition of danger, changes to the role of health and safety officers, and a shift in the balance of power in favour of the employer.

This webinar will build on the information discussed during the evening health and safety information sessions in several locations last fall. It will also allow members to ask questions about workplace health and safety concerns, such as mental health in the workplace, ergonomics, building a health and safety network and further training.
