Thursday, December 3, 2020 Friends,  This coming Sunday is December 6, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. For members who do not know, this national day of remembrance was established after the 1989 shooting of 14 women at École Polytechnique in Montréal, also known as the Montreal Massacre. 

Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, the National Board of Directors has passed a motion that all regional conventions be conducted virtually.  The Prairie Region Convention will take place virtually on June 25-27, 2021. The official revised Convention Call will be circulated to all bodies eligible to attend convention (locals, committees, area councils, National Officers, etc.) on December 15, 2020. 

This special webinar was an informative hour long session in an interactive format discussing mental health issues in these difficult times. We checked in with participants, explored challenges maintaining proper mental health, and provided tips and resources for those in need. We also has a special guest presenter, Dr. Leigh Quesnel, to tailor the discussion.
