Regional Convention in Winnipeg

Attention: All Locals/Branches of PSAC Prairies, Component National Officers, Component Full-Time Vice-Presidents of Prairie Region, Prairie Region Council, Area Councils, Regional Women’s Committees, Human Rights Committees, Equity Committees, National Indigenous Peoples’ Circles and Regional Young Workers Committees The 8th Triennial Prairie Region Convention will be held virtually June 25-27, 2021. Deadline for receipt of supplemental resolutions:  February 19, 2021

In advance of the Prairie Triennial Convention, we will be accepting nominations in eight categories for the Prairie Voice Awards. ONLINE NOMINATION FORM BELOW The Prairie Voice Awards are presented to members who have provided exemplary service or have been role models and mentors for our members. The objective is to recognize PSAC members for their commitment to the labour movement and work that benefits PSAC members in the Prairies.

This one-day course will use a variety of activities to review key components of any PSAC convention including topics such as; resolutions, convention procedures (including rules of order), building an inclusive Convention, and mock resolution debate.

The 7th Triennial Convention of the PSAC Prairie Region will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the Fairmont Winnipeg beginning Friday, April 21, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. and concluding Sunday, April 23, at 12:30 p.m. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. This one-day course will assist members to write clear and meaningful resolutions. It will also identify how to follow the appropriate process for submitting resolutions through locals or other union bodies. Discussions on how to develop long-term strategies for obtaining support for the resolutions will also take place. 

The 6th Triennial Convention of the PSAC Prairie Region will be held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the TCU Place beginning Friday, June 27, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. and concluding Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 12:30 p.m.

The 6th Triennial Prairie Region Convention will be held June 27-29, 2014 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at TCU Place, Saskatoon’s Arts & Convention Centre.
