The children of Fort McMurray have lost so much. Imagine if you had been evacuated from a huge fire, and had probably lost everything, or you have been displaced with no idea when you can return your children to their safe place… home!
Let’s give these children something to do so the parents can have some time to see their children being children in a time of tragedy.
We are deeply concerned by the ongoing forest fire in Fort McMurray, Alberta. There are no reported deaths or major injuries as of this moment. We have communicated with elected PSAC union representatives in the region to check on the safety of our members in the area.
We are happy to invite resolutions for the upcoming PSAC Prairies Regional Women's Conference, June 11-12, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
RESOLUTIONS submission deadline is Wednesday June 1, 2016 by 12 noon (Manitoba time)
