Updates

Please be advised the LGBTQ2+ representative for the Prairie Regional Council has resigned.  Therefore we find ourselves in a position to fill the vacancy left by individual as soon as possible.

As per procedure, any member of a local who self-identifies as part of the LGBTQ2+ community can be nominated to run for this position.  However the delegates to the 2017 PSAC Prairie Regional Convention who were part of the LGBTQ2+  caucus are the only members eligible to nominate and second and vote for the nominees for this position.

On Monday, November 11th we commemorate Remembrance Day by reflecting on the sacrifices made by those who have served and the many that have lost their lives.

The horrors of war can leave veterans with medical, emotional and psychological trauma that impacts upon families and communities. Our government has a duty to take care of our veterans, as they have served our country and protected our freedom.

On behalf of the PSAC Prairie Region Health and Safety Committee, please join us online or by phone for our first ever H&S town hall! We are hoping to engage prairie members to identify priorities for the prairie region to help guide the committee. We will also be discussing and preparing for the National H&S conference at the end of November.

Please register now for PSAC Prairie Region Health and Safety Town Hall on Nov 7, 2019 7:00 in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, 6 PM in Alberta.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada congratulates the winners of this year’s scholarship awards!
