Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for our union to come together and support Indigenous peoples in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come. Orange Shirt Day recognizes all of those who experienced the trauma of residential schools and recommits our union to true national reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.

PSAC is committed to work for true reconciliation with the Indigenous peoples of Canada.

MEDIA ADVISORY: Tentative Agreement Reached At Casino Regina

For Immediate Release, September 7, 2019


REGINA, SK – On Friday September 6th, the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) bargaining team for members working at Casino Regina (PSAC Local 40005) reached a tentative agreement with the employer.

The bargaining team is unanimously recommending acceptance of the deal.

No details of the agreement will be announced until after a ratification vote to be conducted in early October.

The PSAC Social Justice Fund invites your members to participate in the next “Education In Action” project in Guatemala for 2 weeks in spring 2020.

Education In Action is supported by the PSAC Social Justice Fund to engage members and other Canadians to deepen their understanding of Guatemala and to build solidarity with Mayan communities in Guatemala.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) is resuming bargaining with Treasury Board for federal public service workers with the expectation that the government is committed to delivering a fair contract and proper compensation for the damage done to PSAC members by the Phoenix pay system.
