As we commemorate Women’s history month this October, PSAC remembers the women of the labour movement who have fought tirelessly to improve the lives of women and all workers.

Winnipeg Airports Authority and the Public Service Alliance of Canada are pleased to announce an agreement has been reached to bring striking WAA employees back to work.

Late Sunday evening (October 1st), the PSAC/UCTE 50600 bargaining team reached a tentative agreement with the Winnipeg Airport Authority.

The bargaining team is unanimously recommending acceptance and ratification votes are scheduled for Wednesday, October 4th.

No details on the tentative agreement will be released until the members have an opportunity to meet and vote on Wednesday.

If the agreement is ratified, our members will start returning to work on Thursday and you can once again use the Winnipeg airport.
