PSAC and other unions representing federal public service workers are working together to ensure that the government pays damages to its employees for the ongoing Phoenix fiasco.

In one month – on October 19, 2017 -  it will be the second anniversary of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government. It is also day that the federal government has chosen to impose as a deadline for employees of the Vegreville Immigration Centre. 

Our bargaining team will resume negotiations with the employer in Ottawa from September 19 to 22.

Winnipeg, MB – Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Union of Canadian Transport Employees (UCTE) at the Winnipeg Airport encourage participation in today’s United Way Plane Pull event.

The property the Plane Pull is held on, the Red River Stevenson Campus, is leased airport property. As well, the President and CEO of Red River Community College, Paul Vogt, is the Winnipeg Airport Authority’s (WAA) own appointee on the Board of Directors.

PSAC Social Justice Fund (SJF) is organizing a 12-person delegation to travel to Guatemala in the spring of 2018 to work with, and learn from grass roots organizations empowering communities.
