The Prairie Voice Awards are presented to members who have provided exemplary service or have been role models and mentors for our members. The objective is to recognize PSAC members for their commitment to the labour movement and work that benefits PSAC members in the Prairies.

The successful nominees will be presented with their awards during the Prairie Region Triennial Convention, to be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, April 21-23, 2017. Members do not need to be delegates at Convention to be eligible for an award.

On February 8, the government provided an update on the Phoenix pay system. The update shows that, although some progress is being made in addressing important issues, there is still a lot of work ahead.

Delegates to the 2017 Prairies Convention, being held April 21 - 23, 2017 in Winnipeg, Manitoba will be electing the Prairies Regional Executive VicePresident and their Alternate (and Second Alternate if passed by convention). Any PSAC member in good standing in the Prairies is entitled to run for these positions. The nominator and the seconder must be delegates to the Prairies Convention.
