This fall we will hold three NAPC courses for Aboriginal, Inuit and Métis members—one in Alberta (November 26-27), one in Saskatchewan (December 10-11) and one in Manitoba (December 4-5). This two-day course is for First Nation, Inuit and Métis members who have had little or no exposure to their union and would like to learn more about it. 

The PSAC’s Union Development Program (UDP) has been one of the most comprehensive union leadership training programs in Canada for more than 35 years.

The deadline date for applications is Friday October 7, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.

The 7th Triennial Convention of the PSAC Prairie Region will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the Fairmont Winnipeg beginning Friday, April 21, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. and concluding Sunday, April 23, at 12:30 p.m.

WINNIPEG – The union representing Port of Churchill workers is increasingly frustrated with inaction from provincial and federal governments following the Port’s seasonal closure, and is calling for the immediate creation of a federal Employment Insurance zone.
