The Canada Employment and Immigration Union (CEIU) and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) have launched a new transit advertising campaign today that sheds light on the disturbing effects of service cuts to Canadians.

 

After several months of campaigning and card signing, nearly 400 academic workers employed at the University of Winnipeg have joined the Public Service Alliance of Canada and will now benefit from improved working conditions and free collective bargaining.

 

More than four hundred members and staff of the Public Service Alliance of Canada will march through Portage and Main Friday, June 10 to protest Canada Post’s disgraceful approach to bargaining with their employees who are members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.

 

Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada working for Sodexo at 15 Wing ratified their latest tentative agreement last week. PSAC made a number of important gains in negotiations and were able to achieve many of the demands submitted by the members.

 

Flight times will continue as scheduled as the members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada at the Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport accept the Saskatoon Airport Authority’s latest offer.
