The second full session of TC bargaining, held September 21-23, got off to a rocky start.  During this session, the TC bargaining team sent a clear message to the employer: find ways to address our legitimate proposals.

The FB bargaining team met with Treasury Board and CBSA representatives in Ottawa the week of September 12, 2011 to continue negotiations for a new contract.

More than 80 members of PSAC's Union of National Employees (UNE)  who work at Parks Canada, used the component's triennial convention in St. John's, this past week to discuss negotiations and mobilization.

The CFIA bargaining team met in Ottawa last week to prioritize bargaining demands in preparation for negotiations with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

A National Bargaining Conference for PSAC members employed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency was held at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa from May 17 through May 20, 2011.

The team reminded Treasury Board that we intend to resolve long-standing workplace problems and make gains during this round of Collective Bargaining, and that we will not negotiate concessions.

PSAC's Parks Canada bargaining team met for three days May 17 -19 in Ottawa. Team members reviewed the demands identified by delegates to February's bargaining conference in Calgary.

Your team met with the Parks Canada Agency on Thursday June 29th to exchange bargaining demands. The team was well prepared for this exchange and we were very pleased to present our members' priority demands to the employer.

PSAC members from across Canada working for Statistical Survey hammered out their bargaining priorities and mobilization strategies at their national bargaining conference in Winnipeg on June 8 and 9, 2011.
