 Let the games begin! After more than seven weeks on the picket line, members of PSAC and management at Casino Regina have struck a deal that will see Casino workers, including table dealers, cashiers, security and others, return to their jobs July 27.

PSAC members from the Saskatoon area will picket in front of the Minister’s Constituency Office – as he is also MLA for Saskatoon Silver Springs – sending a strong message that they won’t be ignored. The peaceful protest will commence at 11:00 a.m on Monday, July 19.

 From picketing to political action, striking Casino Regina employees will host a rally at the Regina Legislative Building on July 8, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and are asking all supporters and friends to join them in solidarity.

 While employees of Casino Regina continue to walk the picket line, representatives from both the Union and the Employer met today for an informal check-in.

 Solidarity has never been so sweet, as more than 230 members of RWDSU walked out yesterday, in support of their Casino Regina coworkers –– and members of PSAC –– already on strike.

 The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) has served The Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation (SGC) with notice that its members working at Casino Regina will take strike action at 6:00 p.m. on Thurs. June 3, 2010.
